Cloudy brown beer, residual tan head. Dry palate. Even malt, slightly chocolate and showing mild oxidisation. Dry finish. Malty blandness with a slightly sweeter finish. A real let down.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and hint of coriander. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, yellowish-golden body under a small, white head. There’s some notes of oxidation, no wonder, as it’s quite old, with citrus peel, some coriander and pale malts. Grass too. The flavor is quite citrusy and with a pleasant bitterness. Some spice hints and pale malts. Medium body, dry, and quite pleasantly carbonated. Some bitterness and metallic notes in the end. This one has certainly kept well. 121124

Bottle BBF Jan 2010 @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, hops and nuts. Dry finish.

Bottle. It’s a lightly unclear, golden bodied beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has a pleasant hoppyness even though the bottle is way past BB-date. Pale malts, grass and some fluor toothpaste. There’s some oxidation of course, but not in an unpleasant way. Pale malts and some bitterness in the flavor. Oranges and a touch of pine cones too. Mostly bitter finish. Keeps surprisingly good this one. 121110
