Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light brownish gold and clear with a fluffy off-white head. Light malty aroma, some grapefruit pith, some tannic tea. Sweet taste with a touch of fruty sourness, a little citrus peel. Long balanced finish. Nice beer if a little bit messy.

Third by cask on the third day of GBBF Winter 20, Astbury Bar. Shared with Finn. Covering white head, next-to-clear golden body, spotty lacing. Dusty hops on the nose, citric hints. Oily hops to the taste profile added by mid-dry lemon. Ends with a distant fruity bitter bite. Satisfying. (Birmingham 06.02.2020).
