Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours coppery brown with a beige head that left rapidly. Aroma is medium dark malt with perhaps a touch of nut. Med body. Flavor is medium dark malt with a touch of nut. Hop is discernible but too light to parse. It's towards dry, but not too bitter. Probably best with pizza or burgers. Flavors are not very intense, but they are flavors.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light spicy/grassy. Med body or nearly. Flavor is somewhat bready/malty and has discernible spicy/grassy hop. There's even a little burn - which could be hop or carbonation. Actually seems a rather decent lager.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of dark malt with something hinting at spicy. Noble hop? Med body - actually thinner than that. Flavor is dark fruits, treacly dark malt, and not much hop. It's not all that undry, and it's not really bitter. I'd say it's a bit short on ingredients. Xpt alcohol. Which isn't really bothersome. If this had come in at 8%, I think there would be more malt and it would be much tastier.

From bottle to pint. The aroma is rather rich with biscuit male, which was a promising start, but there is also a bit of funk in the end. Garnet and brown with brown head that quickly fades to a thin collar. Taste is thin and not much malt at all. Blah.

From bottle to pint. I think this beer struggled to find what a brown should be. Clear brown with an off-white head that quickly faded. Malty and slightly underattenuated. Not much going on hop wise.

On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy dark orange, white head. Malty, lots of oranges, orange juice, bit spicy. Quite sweet. Bit artificial. Some bitterness in the finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation.

Bottle to pint glass. Hops are restrained throughout. Malt is cloying on both aroma and flavor.
