12 oz bottle from an Olamendi’s store and drank on 2nd Feb 2017 while on holiday in California. Highly carbonated, it flew out the bottle: hazy golden body, huge white head. Hop led aroma and taste, sweet though, yet with a sharp bitterness too. Not bad actually. Had a lot more taste and flavour than many, many Lagers I have had over the years.

Gusher! Hazy deep amber beer, massive cream colour head. Palate is light and has modest fine carbonation. Thin caramel - toffee malts. Appley streak. Orange peel and marmalade. Light pine. Appley finish. A bit messy and very disappointing.

12oz bottle shared with my wife on 25th May 2016, straight after this breweries Raspberry Ale: preferred this, but only just. Dull orange in colour with a wisp and collar on top. Oranges rule the nose and flavour (no surprises there then) and it is quite refreshing in the afternoon Californian sunshine. On the sweet side, but just about drinkable when thirsty.

12oz bottle shared with my wife on 25th May 2016: poured into a Corsendonk tulip. Clear light pink/raspberry red body, wispy white head. A bit too ’Raspberry’ for my liking, the wife however quite enjoyed her half of the bottle. Label says Raspberry Ale, so keep away if you don’t want to smell and taste a Raspberry flavoured beer.

330ml bottle from local Bargain Booze. Amber gold colour, white foamy head and aroma of marmalade, caramel. Flavour is malt caramel, bready, with some grapefruit & earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Deeper amber coloured, with next to no head. Has a fair strength to it, but not overbearing in terms of texture or taste. Its nose is full of toffee and caramel, with a similar but slightly lesser stated taste.

650ml bottle @ ISKTR

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of malts, metallic notes, hints of berries and bourbon. Taste is sweetish, malty and stuffy with some hints of berries and sweet toffee. Finish is stuffy, sweet and messy. Sweet and messy.

Bottle. Copper-amber with a thin head. Has a light fruity-sweet aroma and taste that’s not very stated but does have a pleasant mouthfeel.

Bottle. Deeper golden coloured with a thin bubbly head. Well hopped with a stated tropical fruitiness. Plenty of nose with some biscuit-malts alongside the fruit.
