Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-06 getrunken. Schöne moderate Säure. Wunderbar süffig. Im Abgang finden sich überraschend typische Pale Ale Aromen, was nicht so ganz zu diesem Bier passt.

Another beer I tried at the 3rd Cotteridge Tasting on 20th May 2017. Cheers Scopey for bringing a 1500ml Magnum for sharing. Black bodied, tan topping. Aroma is based around the roasted malts, chocolate esters being the strongest player. The taste is also malts forwards with again chocolate coming to the fore, smooth body feel, some liquorice flavours towards the slightly bittering finish. Lovely beer.

Big bottle shared at the Cotteridge Wines Convention, Vol. III. Cheers! Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds burnt pine, light roast. Medium sweet flavour, lightly boozy, some spicy accents, chocolate, earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, with velvety carbonation. Finishes with moderate sweetness, more chocolate, light alcohol warmth. Good stuff.
