Bottle from Albertsons. Medium golden pour, substantial head. Light tropical, fruity notes in the aroma. Taste too is subdued, NEIPA ligh. Still plenty of malt and enough hops for an IpA. Sounds crazy, huh?

22 oz bottle poured. Nice to find this unique offering from Iron Horse. It's been a couple years now, it's about time I pay another visit to the brewpub. A beautiful appearance to this beer. Thick, hazy caramel brown, tons of sediment and active carb. First impression for me on this beer comes from the smoked malt. It's present, and not overpowering, though if it was stronger I wouldn't complain. I love the flavor profile from the smoked malt and caramel as a combination. Thick body, a standout on first sip. A quiet aroma, a fraction but consistent example of the flavor to follow. A good array of flavors here. Lingering flavorful, touch of smoke palate. A very pleasant surprise here. Very good.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Medium golden body, hazy, one finger fluffy head. Looks great. Aroma doesn't give much away, little malts, hint of hops. Taste starts with some savory, peppery hops, malt base detectable underneath. Dry finish, a bit too dry. Hoppiness on the palate lingers, and stings a bit.
