Draft at Voodoo Brewing- Boise. Dark brown pour, small beige head. Toasty malt aroma, sweet. Taste is dark malts, toasty, light sweetness. Negro Modelo clone.

Notes from October 2012 Bottle from LetsPour. Ommegang chalice to try & keep everything compact. Cream-colored flimsy head. Muggy, dark brown body. Light sleeping sediment; I tried. Smells like a like a brown ale with some cacao nibs & cherry juice added. A bit medicinal. Some toasty grain on the taste, but it honestly tastes how it smells. Some licorice. Curious nuttiness on the trail end. Not really all that sweet, just sloppy. Frothy tongue. Really low carbonation, barely a tickle. Rough alcohol. This is not 7.8%. At least the shipping was free. /shrug

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Near black pour, filmy beige head. Aroma is roast malts and chocolate with faint Oreo notes. Taste is Oreos, chocolate, vanilla sweet, then dry. Feels thin.

Can from Tavour. Pours bright gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is bready with a hint of grass. Med body. Dry. Somewhat bitter. Flavor is bready with a bit of Noble hop.
