Description
Eik & Tid (Oak & Time) is a farmhouse beer inspired brewery in Oslo, Norway dedicated to making sour and wild beer the nordic way.

Our entire brew setup is customized to fit the raw beer brewing process. By modifying surplus dairy tanks from Norwegian farms, we where able to get what we needed at an affordable cost. We also like the added bonus of upcycling derelict equipment instead of getting new made and shipped half across the globe.

Holy Jesus. I have never tried a beer with cucumber before. And it both smell and taste cucumber. AND it is quite good. I would never have guessed that this would work.
Hazy pale golden color with a small white layer on top. Pleasant acidity. A bit round and nice mouth feeling. Also some citric notes.

A nice red body with a small pink layer on top. Good intensity in the aroma, and a fine nice balanced acidity. Pleasant smooth carbonation and a fine body for a 4% beer. Dry ending and a nice round and mellow texture. Smooth cherry flavor. Also citric and lactic.

Hazy pale golden color with a white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Ok body for a beer at 4%. Soft carbonation level. Quite dry and acidic. But yet also mellow and round texture. Citric, yeast, biscuit and lactic flavor. Juniper maybe when I know it. It had some herbal notes I found hard to describe. Nice stuff.

WoW. My goodness. I do not think it is possible to get it more acidic and dry than this. Love/hate. Refreshing and nice in my mouth.
Hazy pale golden color with a white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Ok body for a beer at 4%. Soft carbonation level. DRY and ACIDIC. Citric, yeast, biscuit and lactic flavor. Quite drinkable although its rich acidity. Nice stuff.

Sampled at Nøgne Ø/Zwanze 2016. Unclear pinkish orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild funky acidic with a light hint of cherry or maybe even more gooseberry if I didn’t know better. Some kind of acidic berries anyway. Flavor has a more subtle fruitiness and berries but still quite acidic. I did not find so much of the original #5 here as from the Slange and Skog as sampled earlier. The flavor from the berries and the funky brew seems to complement each other quite well, but on the other side this makes it a less exiting brew. Not bad, quite quaffable but not into the same standard as the other brews from Eik & Tid and there were also a few better sours with cherry available at this event. Keep on trying, this is exiting.
