Draft pour at Zwanze Day 2026, at The Sovereign in Washington DC. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was white grapes, vermouth. It's okay. Vermouth with some woodsy herbalness funk. This is decent but it misses the mark just a little bit.

Armsby draught, 4/25/26. Vintage not listed, but assuming this is a 2025 keg that shipped for Zwanze.
Nice and musty, funky, well-barnyarded nose with well-macerated grape leaving it elegant and well-integrated with the lambic.
The lambic itself is surprisingly light, soft, very Brett-forward with gentle, but ebullient funk. Lighter body, not thin, with elegant grape adding both skin and moderate acid character. Some juiciness, chalk and earth as it warms, never fading on the funk.

Tap op Zwanze 2026. Ik neem aan de '25 versie. Troebelig geelgouden body, fijn wit schuim. IJskoud. Geur is zuur, brettig. Retronasaal zurig, houtig, licht zoetig, vleugje (gelukkig) brett. Smaak is zurig en iets zoetig. Lichte body. Iets droge houtige afdronk.
