Bottle Blond, treble body. White, fizzy head. Fair lace. Nose of vanilla - quite unusual. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Soft palate.

(2003 sample) Golden; very white head, uneven bubbles. Nose with faint pale malts and faint citrus zeste. Sweet, cloying. Not very supportive to try more... It's a bit liqueurish, but it's neither dry, neither delicate. Very light mouthfeel and texture. Christmas? Why bother? Somebody's got an idea, and it stayed platonic. But last year's sample was a lot better.
