On tap @ Henrik. This looks like apple juice! Nothing more, nothing less. No head and crystal clear with some unfiltered particles floating about. It smells like apple-juice also - the one that does not come from a concentrate and has a thin acidity. It has no carbonation this, and it's quite oily on the mouthfeel. If I did not know that this was a cider containing alcohol, I would have taken this for an apple juice any day. Green pressed apples with a soft acidity. Tastes really nice actually. Wish it had some carbonation, but this is actually a fine cider. Light drymouthing finish. 25.10.2012

750 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Golden body with a thin, white, disappearing membrane. Aroma is mainly matured apple with a hint of fruity acidity. Flavor is apple of course, like a mix of young and matured apples. The sweetness dominates, with some acidity making some balance. Quite nice in smaller amounts, a bit to sweet and alcoholic in the long run. I will not say anything to compare with Sommesrby……..except that this is real cider!

Screwcap bottle, 8% ABV, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Golden colour, pours fizzy, no lasting head. The aroma and flavour have notes of fermenting sweet eating apples (Gravenstein, Summerred, Aroma), hints of sulphur and anise.
