Description
In the winter of 2016, the two Augsburgers, Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, founded FrauGruber Brewing (FRAUenschuh + GRUBER = FrauGruber) and brewed their first beers as Gipsy brewers in spring 2017 in the Old Factory in Gundelfingen. It quickly became clear that all the ideas, experiments and further developments would be very difficult to implement without an own brewery and the freedom that goes with it. In order to grow quantitatively and conceptually, FrauGruber had to grow. We managed to realize our dream of having our own brewery in January 2020. So we came to our goal of creating a kind of "way of life" and building a community with which we can share the enthusiasm and passion for beer. Our aim is to test and live the incredible variety of beer, to act sustainably and especially to give beer a higher value.

Can, courtesy of SinH4. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is citric, grassy, lightly tropical and DMS, but harmonic. Body is light, quite sweet, with a supporting lively carbonation, still all the hops aromas present. Little yeast flavours. Palate is rather dry, with traces of malt sweetness. Balanced, pleasantly unfiltered. Good!

0.33 l bottle from โ€™P&M Getrรคnkeโ€™, best before October 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, very fruity, dank, grassy and a little resiny aroma of mango, passion fruit, orange, fresh grass and some pine. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly resiny taste of mango, passion fruit, orange, fresh grass and traces of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy, a bit resiny and moderately dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, well-balanced, rather aromatic than bitter, overall a really pleasant experience!

330 ml can from Biervana, Munich, shared at CBF Wien 2017.
Orange-amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of grapefruit, dankness, juice, peach, red berries, some tropical fruits, biscuit, some honey.
Tastes quite similar, pretty sweet, with more biscuit, but also crisp and fresh.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, moderate bitter, warm, piney, zesty, a bit fruity, a bit biscuity.

Tasty. More on the sweet side, with a broad, biscuity malt body, but also lots of fruity, juicy notes. Lovely pine spiciness towards the finish, leading to a crisp impression. Another great style example by this brewery.
