Bottle courtesy of Monia, thank you. Consumed in Warsaw-Poland. Golden clear with a medium white foam. Nose: some dyacetil, malty. Mouth: malty a bit biscuity. Decent bitterness.

Als Jagiełło Pilsner erhalten ... Die Optik zeigt ein schönes Bernstein mit glänzender Trübung. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone geht rasch in eine grobe Konsistenz über, wirkt dabei aber flaumig und hält mäßig gut. Die Duftaromatik wirkt zart süß bis süßlich-fruchtig mit einem leichten Einschlag von Zitrusaroma. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, leicht karamellmalzig und sehr herb! Der Mittelteil gestaltet sich ebenfalls sehr herb, eigentlich regelrecht bitter. Das zarte Karamellmalz und die leicht holzige Würze gehen in dieser extremen Herbe direkt unter. Aufgrund dieser Adstringenz ergibt sich ein sehr gebremstes Mundgefühl und eine ebenso schlechte Süffigkeit. Im Nachtrunk wirkt dieses Bier wieder etwas versöhnlicher und angenehmer. Die leichte Süße und der karamellige Charakter kommen besser zur Geltung. Erst etwas später wird es wieder richtig hopfenherb bis bitter.

Barwa ciemno bursztynowa, zamglone, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie sporo diacetylu, że można chleb smarować nieco DMS, znikome cytrusy. W smaku półwytrawne, diacetylu już mniej, trawiastość, taka trochę mineralność, znikome cytrusy. Goryczka do średniej, łodygowa, zalegająca. Wysycenie średnie, nie czuć alkoholu. No niestety, raczej słabiutko.

500ml bottle, 5.6 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Firm fawn-coloured head to a deep dark ruby body, spotty lacing. Moderate, but distinct caramel nose. Toffee and brittle caramel flavours. Prolonged caramel malty ending. Fair enough. (PivotekaH7 session, Tromsø 15.10.2020).

500ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. A chalk white head over a bright golden body, clingy lacing. Modest smell of pale malts, hints of bread. Mild malt-driven taste, bread and earth joined by hints of herbal hops. Distant dry bitter endnotes. Accepted. (PivotekaH7 session, Tromsø 15.10.2020).
