696ml bottle into glass. Slightly skunk nose. Amber with big white head. Looks OK. Spritzy, a little bubblegum sweetness. Really abrupt finish with tiny suggestion of hops. No aftertaste so you immediately want another. Not very good, but not horrible either.

250 ml (!) bottle into glass. Slight aroma. Big head fading, light body, thin feel, average carbonation. Not much lacing. Not as metallic as XXXX, nor as vomitous as VB but still not very pleasant.

Bottle from an Australian themed UK pub chain. Colour is pale gold not much head visable as from bottle. Aroma was had just a touch more than water. Taste is light malt and a bit of sweetness.

@ Beervana, 2014. Starts with light tart apple. The ginger lingers in the back for a bit but grows as you sip. It’s tasty and interesting but hard to drink a whole bottle unless you are a ginger fanatic.

Mahogony in color with an off-white head. Toasted malts, molasses, chocolate, with lightly sweet fruit. Medium bodied. Pretty solid, really. Not what I look for in a brown ale, but I’d have a couple pints and be fine with it.

Clear, golden color. Topped with a generous but quickly settling white head. Not much to the aroma. Some malts and perhaps slight grains. The taste similarly neutral, sweet start and a slight bitterness in the finish. Ice cold one is refreshing, but just another lager really.
