Nice crisp hazy golden coloured body with a frothy slightly off-white head that tops the beer nicely! Good looking beer! Aroma of fresh citrus hops with a slight piney aroma and a good malty backbone with some honey tucked in. Medium-bodied; Very assertive hops noticeable with a pungent bitter taste and a good malty finish - nice potent flavours. Aftertaste shows a lot of hops a bit of alcohol and some metallic twangs near the end. Overall, a pretty strong IPA - definitely hoppy and balanced pretty well. Good for real hop-heads and much better than anything Rogue has done on their own. I enjoyed this beer and wish Eugene stayed by themselves! Slightly hazy deep orange coloured body with an impressive copper tint and a thick dense tan head. Aroma of potent grapefruity hops, malt, alcohol and a light spiceyness. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hoppiness up front with a bitter twang on the tongue and a light metallic quality. Aftertaste shows the bittering hops, some malt and a bit of alcohol - not much else though! Overall, a pretty respectable APA, much better than anything you’d typically see come from Rogue!!! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC on 07-March-2009, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 28-March-2009.

bottle - Pours mostly clear light amber and has an aroma of caramel malt and lightly citrus accented hops. The flavor is well balanced sweet caramel malt and grapefruit hops. It’s medium bodied with a pretty good balance and overall is a very solid pale ale.

Flavour is toffee, caramel malts, some bittering fruity hops as well as some grassyness. A rather spicy finish. Wellbalanced and very drinkable.

Cloudy deep blond color. Aroma of caramel and hops. Caramel flavor, medium dry mouthfeel, strong bitterness, powerful hopping, with light orange peel. Pimped American Pale Ale, good but not impressive; for example, tasted side to side with the 100 Meters Ale, it has less body and less balance.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing white head. Nice peachy and mild orange fruity hops aroma. Flavour too is smooth yet also with a light bitterness bite. Slowly growing bitterness in the finish from an oily hops palate. Dry and lasting fruity into the far finish. Nice and easy, quite peachy.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small, dense and off-white head. Smooth grapefruit and mild wooden hops aroma. Smooth malty flavoured with a nice hoppy and fruity note of grapefruit on top with a distinct bitterness and dryness. Smooth hoppy finish with a distinct bitterness beneath.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with quite strong aroma of hops and Medium notes of grass and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops, lending it notes of peaches and grass, leading to a nicely bitter finish.
