Bottle from Lumpy. Pours with a small, fizzy, fizzing away white head and a clear, clear colored body. Aroma of a skunk in some grass. Taste is not offensive, just water and corn. Not fizzy but hell of watery.

Bottle from Grocery Outlet in Woodland, CA. Brassy gold color with a decent white head. Aroma is primarily sweet with a deal of grassy hop. Near medium body with fizzy, creamy carbonation. Ratther bready, and there is a decent amount of hop. Seems balanced. Finish is neutral rather than bitter. A little too bready for crisp, but it has a good clean flavor.

Dark color. Unoffensive beer, with a lot of caramel and light roasted malt; some sweetness as usual and a light sourness.

Can. Clear, pale golden body and a decent but diminishing white head. Weak aroma, second to none, but it’s not bad. There are a tiny note reminiscent of beer though. Not foul taste either, but except for some very weak hops, there’s nothing worth mentioning. Thin and watery in the mouth. The finish has a tad malty sweetness. I thought my last Brazilian beer was the weakest I’ve ever tasted, but this is even weaker. Amazing. (070404)

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow, rich airy head. Artificial lime aroma and flavour. Very sweet with notes of spruce needles and lime. Sugary and very artificial. Way too sweet. Comparable with Desperados, I’m afraid...

Medium brown colour, with a fairly rich light brown head. Fruity (cherry, prune) aroma with light demerara back notes. Sweet, simple palate delivers soft demerara maltiness. Light, creamy body. Quick, sweet finish. Yeah, I know these South American darks aren’t actually good beers, but I like their simple, sweet character.

Dark brown clear with a collapsable moka head. Berry malt aroma, with faint chocolate notes. In mouth, uninspiring overdiluted excuse for a dunkel, with the notes of fruits noted below, rather bizarre and unappealing. Like drinking weak fruit Quick!

Bottled (BB 10/2005)
Golden color, small white head. Very malty nose. Oily palate. Grassy hops are there, so this really is a kind of German-style pilsener. Sweet malty backbone.
