150ml draught at Skaal. Black in the glass, spotty lacing from a covering beige head. Promising smell of grainy chocolate. Powerful taste profile of mid-sweet chocolate added by caramel. Smoothly roasted, mid-sweet malt-driven ending. Mouth filling. Excellent. (Copenhagen 09.05.2019).

Draft. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, and liquor. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, liquor, chocolate, coffee, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Mother Kelly's Well Street. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. Interesting stuff, quite reminiscent of Dr. Pepper, also has some bitter cocoa, mild astringency, earth. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Bitter finish, some ashy post, more baking cocoa, Dr. Pepper, scorched earth. Novel. So so overall.
