Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. Dark and dense, near black appearance. Rocky foam head. Big cocoa and roast on the first sip. Toasty malt with a subtle pine background. Mild malt forward nose. Dense body, almost creamy. Bold flavors dominate over any rich character. Plenty of hop bitter that lingers late. Overall a smooth and flavorful CDA. Love the style and don't come across it nearly enough.

12 oz can poured. Glowing golden orange appearance, with a quick fading foam head. A nice, juicy, and refreshing berliner here, with a mild juicy citrus fruit sour taste that lingers. Cool first sip. Lemon, orange, soft grass, soft wheat aroma. Just a touch of tart, making this likely a good introduction beer for those on the fence about sour beer. Late palate shows off the balance of malts, hops, and citrus. Really enjoyable light brew here.

On tap at the Bellingham BP. Slightly hazy dull orange light amber thin sticky white head. Mellow slightly sweet citrus and tropical hop aromas and flavors . Full and smooth palate. Very nice. Not obnoxious

Tap at Craft Beer Base Bud. Aroma pine and choc, taste is good, chocolate sweetness, bit of caramel, hoppiness at the back but still there. Good stuff.

Tap at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho. Liquorice, fruity porter like aroma. Taste has bit of coke, touch of smoke, little bit of sweetness. Can't get the oatmeal. Pretty boozy. Cherry.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Total Wine. A darker chocolate brown pour, fading fizz. A sweet side to this. Bready malt forward. Rich. Soft coffee and cinnamon like spice background. Seems a bit too rich for my taste, but not a bad brew here.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Add this to my "can't believe I haven't rated this" list. This beer is a classic. A mostly clean copper reddish pour, a patchy off white foam head. I nice, warming winter brew here. Its sweet up front, but its fitting. Spicy and sweet malt combination. Very fitting for the season. Caramel, maple, lingering sweet finish. A beer I'll probably enjoy ever year from now for as long as I live around here. Not amazing, but a good winter warmer here.
