For 30 years, they brewed out of their brewpub in downtown Bellingham. Upon closing their brewpub in Sept 2025, they continue to brew Cedar Dust IPA, Scotch Ale and IPA at Black Raven Brewing, plus special recipes.

Deep bright gold. Med head. Rye on the nose and even more rye on the palate. Lots of caramelly malt sweetness, arguably a lot less bitterness than the 35 ibu would indicate. Ok but defintely too sweet for my taste.

Golden-amber, sticky gluey sweet, some plasticy phenols and everything. So for me this is too sticky and that ends up obscuring the hops.

Opaque. Soft body, oaty maybe, light tropical fruit but a bit vague. So it’s decent but you spend too much time thinking about the upside they left on the table.

On Tap at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham. Foggy dull light yellow Firm thin off white head. Light smooth pale malts with a grassy earthy hop character. Smooth and soft. Pleasant.
