Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Pours copper, beige head. Aroma is malty and roasted. Taste, some nice floral notes, caramel malts, with hoppy finish. Not a bad brew, but nothing special going on here.

Poured up in a squat tulip glass with a clear deep gold body and impressive near bright white head of foam. It was served a little too cold. The aroma seems to be honey, pilsner malts, candi sugar, a hint of pepper, banana, bubble gum and light colored fruity esters. It has a thick and rich flavor with notes coming in from all directions all at once. I get notes of Belgian candi sugar, sweet thick honey infused syrup, bold and brash notes of prunes and raisins being mixed with banana and a mild background of bubble gum. Could improve with age to attain a more blended smooth sensation. Very nice now though and I get no sense of the big 10.7% ABV.

Draft @ Redlight. Black nitro’d cascading head. Nice roastiness in the nose, and then lots of chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Dry thinning finish, typical nitro body. But at least there’s some flavor in there.
