Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Thanks to Matta for this one! Hazy orange color that produces a large eggshell white head. Light malt aroma and lots and lots of Ginger. Lightly bitter from start to finish with a dry textured light to medium body. Heavily spiced, reminds me of a Gruit.

Hazy dark golden colour with an orange tint and a thin off-white head. Aroma more of apricots than peach-but a pleasant sweetness none-the-less. Light to almost Medium-bodied; Sweetness up front with apricot flavours most prevalent and some tart finishing. Aftertaste shows light flavours with a mouth coating feeling. Overall, very nice to try-thanks to MattA for supplying Jon[R888710] with this beer and of course for sharing it with me. Not the best beer I could imagine from the brewery, but a decent beer! Happy 23rd Jon! I sampled this beer accquired by MattA & JonR888710 on 13-July-2004 with Jon for his Birthday!

Toasty, dark chocolatey. Very dry but thin as well, which to me makes it all kind of empty, even the toasty notes.

Matta sent this fine brew! Thanks!!! This raised a small head despite a vigorous pour, but otherwise had a nice deep brown color. The aroma was light caramel, chocolate, and nutty, toasted malt. Softly carbonated, it has a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is light chocolate, balanced by a slight hop bitterness and a touch of smokyness in the finish that rememinded me of their Highland Games.

Thanks to Envane for sending this my way!! Beautiful amber color with a thick off white head. Well balanced aroma of malt and hops is repeated again in the flavor profile. Very smooth creamy mouthfeel delivers a beer that is nicely malty at the start and wonderfully bitter in the finish. Nicely crafted Amber Ale.

Thanks to Matta for sending this my way!! Deep black color and a creamy mocha colored head. Roast malt in the aroma with additions of coffee, chocolate, and a hint of smokiness. The flavor is rich and dominated by slightly burnt roast malt flavors with a pleasant burnt malt finish. A Stout that is a little different and definately worth trying.

Thanks to Envane for sending this from Tampa. Wow, a brewery with two fruit beers!! This pours like a typical wheat beer to a point. The head is thick and creamy but is PINK. Typical wheat haze with pink tones to a yellow beer. Nice clean raspberry aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and fruity, balanced with just a tad of fruit tartness with a creamy sweet fruit finish. A real good beer for fruit beer lovers.

Thanks to Matta for sending this in a fine trade!!! This looks like a wheat beer when poured. Huge white head, some haziness and a medium yellow color. The aroma is to me more of the Peach than of the Apricot, but it’s a fruitbasket in any case. The flavor is pleasantly fruity with a smooth easy drinking palate. Fruit beers are not my favorite style, but this is not bad. For a fruit beer lover, this would be a gem!!

#300!!! Thanks to Matta for sending this one! This was a good trade! This Pale is a winner that starts off with a big creamy head riding on a beautiful burnished copper beer. Grapefruit hops balanced with a light malt in the aroma which is clean and refreshing and sets you up for the taste which is well balanced. It finishes with a slight bitterness that is just right. Balance is the word for this beer. Matt has chosen a good one to keep on hand in his ’fridge. And look Pippin, it comes in pints!
