Certainly a “craft” helles. Unfiltered and has that character to it, but it works here and makes it have some body. But not the typical super crisp german helles. It works. Beerwulf adventkalendar 2020

Süffiger, hopfig herber Beginn. Nicht zu süß, wenig fruchtig, angenehm hefig. Weich, süffig, trockener werdend, die Herbe bleibt konstant. Leicht ansteigende Intensität, würzig hopfig, mittellanger Abgang. 8/9/9/10/11/9

13-11-20 // 440ml can. Fruity but also piney and dry and some mild citrus. Quince levels are low. Hazyness not extreme. Wedtcoast touch with a ME juicyness. Good bitterness. I like.

(Garching-) Flascherl: Hazy to cloudy, golden with an orangey sheen, big and slowly collapsing loose white head, distinctive citrus-fruity nose with a mild honeyish touch and an illusion of watermelons; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, very soft and medium bodied; mild and lingering fruity-orangey-citrussy finish with a certain amount of balancing pale malt in the aftertaste. Not too demanding, but pleasant...

Fläschla (Greetings To Garching!): Cloudy, golden(?), bigger and slowly collapsing white head, distinctive herbal-peppery hops in the moderate sweet-bitter nose, fruits and yeast quite well detectable; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite fizzy; sweet fruity and vinous (?) traces in the fuzzy bitter-sweet finish. These Bohemian hops should be Better uses to brew decent Lagers...

A weaker imperial stout, like a light version. The tastes that are there are good, but mild. Dangerously drinkable for 9%, but simple and a bit one dimensional. Hopcult Dresden

Bottle (333 ml): Hazy, pale golden to golden, small stable white foamy layer, , mild dryish grainy-bitter nose; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; mildly lingering fruity/grainy finish, an illusion of bitterness in the aftertaste. Not really convincing, presumably it is easier to brew a hop-accented “craft-beer” than a decent Helles…
