Tap @ Upstream. Pours a cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Yeasty, somewhat spicy, light orange citrusy aroma. Fairly light bodied. Kind of a weak, light wheat flavor with some spicy yeast and light citrus. Not much going on.

Bottle @ Armin’s house. Somewhat cloudy, reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Honey, rich orange citrusy, bretty, tart lemon aroma. A bit cloying, thick lemon citrusy, bretty, fairly tart, pineapple, tangy, sweet, belgian yeasty flavor. Fun brew but not worth the $17.99 price tag.

Nonic pint draft at the brewpub in Omaha, Nebraska. The pour is a mostly clear copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is dank, resin, cirtus hops along with a nice amount of toasted malt. The taste is hops, particularly the tangerine citrus and resin dankness. The malt is present, though is certainly underneath the hops. It also shows some sweet caramel I hadn’t noticed on the aroma. The palate is medium to light bodied, a touch slick and oily, though this cleans up and dries out fast in the finish. Really fresh tasting, nice one.

An interesting tall 0.5L glass draft at the brewpub in Omaha, Nebraska. The pour is cloudy yellow orangish with a small white head. the aroma is yeasty clove, wheat grain and floral hop resin. Fresh nose. The taste follows the nose nicely, clove yeast, wheat grain and floral hop in well balanced equal measure. The palate is medium bodied, nice natural un filtered mouth feel and a dry clean finish. This was a great day for a warm day on the upstairs patio.
