Draft/Fest. A- Caramel, malty, pine. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Malty, spice, pine, caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- This felt like an old fashioned IPA. The rye really took away the typical notes associated with an IPA and kind of overpowered the beer.

Draft/Fest. A- Rye, straw. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Rye, straw, black pepper. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- PILS PILS PILS PILS Rye the Science Guy....fun beer and fun name but sadly that’s where it ends. Tons of rye in here and almost to the point of overload. Drank alright, but not for me.

66 cl bottle @ Timo A, bottled 11.3.2016
Lots of yeast particles (or raspberry pulp?) in glass. Aroma is rather odd with raspberry juice and licorice. Flavour is rather tart with raspberry juice and perhaps some licorice in the background. Also some chocolate tones. Weird stuff, not that close to sour red/brown but still not my thing.

Draft at HopCat. Slightly hazy amber in color. Good lacing. Aroma shows me mild pine, light floral, mild caramel. Flavor shows a pine hop base, mild caramel, medium hop bitterness. Ends somewhat balanced yet bitterness is astringent. Just ok

Draft/Fest. A- Coriander, spices, wheat. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Wheat, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Didn’t detect any blood oranges. Or any citrus for that matter. Decent though.

Draft/Fest. A- Gin, juniper, soap. A- Orange gold color, cloudy liquid white head. T- Juniper berries, citrus, gin. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Apparently they finally released the rest of this beer and it’s done well. The gin is definitely noticeable and really holds together what I feel would be an otherwise boring saison. Nice flavors and aroma.

Draft/Fest. A- Meaty, roasty. A- Brown color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Meaty, umani, subtle tartness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, weird finish. O- Weird as hell. Not sure why this tasted so meaty and no fruits or sourness at all but somehow it managed to be okay.
