BB 12/2022. dark yellow rather hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, spices, peppery, wood, bit flowery, light sweetness, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, some honey, flowery, some wood, hints of white wine notes, peppery. finishes lightly sweet with notes of honey, earthy and some spicy notes. decentish, not very sour yet, almost on the sweet side. might need a bit more time.

Bottle at Kangurah, Vienna, 13th March 19. Another sneeky session at work Confernce. Pours a dark red brown, aroma is super, balsamic, sour fruit, funk. Taste is tart, balsamic, fruit, damp wood, complex and good fun.

BB 12/2022. copper hazy color, small off-white head. smells of resin, forest, pines. very nice intense smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouhthfeel. tastes of resin, pines, forest floor, some light sourness, some sweetness, some wood, herbal, sage, thyme. finishes lightly sour with notes of resin, forest floor and some herbal notes. very nice one, nice herbal and resin notes. i very much enjoyed this.

Bottle. Deep brown color with amber highlight. Aroma is earthy, cherries, tobacco, super balanced. Taste is cherries, earthy, chocolatey, a touch balsamico, but not too sour at all. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Amazing balance, very well done, Alefried! This is about as good as dark sours get.

Dark reddish-brown body, with a medium, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of leather, overripe fruits, dried fruits, balsamico, red wine, cocoa, coffee, some dark berries.
Tastes quite similar, while with more dry, leathery red wine barrel.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, vinous, leathery, with ripe dark fruits, cocoa, balsamico.
Very nice. Quite intense, especially the taste, which is a bit too leathery for me. The nose is really lovely though, complex and diverse. Really interesting stuff overall.

Bottle. Hazy amber brown-ish color with off-white head. Aroma is juniper, pines, light tart funk. Taste is juniper, pines, light yoghurt funk, quite balanced. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Tasty and balanced, very good!

XXXX. dark brown color, small coffee colored head. smells spices, peppery, dill, earthy. ok smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, dill, peppery, red grapes, leathery, earthy. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of dill, red fruits and earthy notes. okish, but not that great, quite a lot of dill and pukeish notes.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann and kiwey! Hazy orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is apricot skin, fresh yeast funk, juicy apricot jam. Taste is yeastcake, yoghurt, apricot skin, a bit mealy. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Fun, and quite an amazingly intense aroma, though a bit too yeasty perhaps.
