Bottle, 6.5%. Weak vinous fruit aroma. Muddy chestnut colour. Fruity flavour with a rough hoppiness, not entirely unpleasant.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy amber golden with a small, off-white head that dissipates in no time. Aroma is primarily yeast (!). Medium-bodied with a low carbonation, notes of yeast and some indefinable fruit. The finish is dry. This is nowhere near a Bitter and as a beer this is no better than a poor homebrew. Sorry Rhys, come again. 190208

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, orangey golden with a huge, rough and bubbly, white head. Lots of yeast and diacetyl in the aroma and some banana. Medium body with a fairly high carbonation and some sweet banana notes. There’s a distinct yeastiness and lots of diacetyl. The finish is dry. Hefe is a diffucult style to make a great brew of, but for a tiny brewery this is not at all a bad attempt. 190208

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of yeast and alcohol. Medium-bodied with distinct notes of yeast and banana and LOADS of diacetyl. Somewhat astringent, leathery finish. Not bad as such just miles away from the Maibock it intends to be - both in flavour and appearance. This is more of a Weizenbock really. 180208
