330ml bottle. Pours deep brown with an enormous lasting head despite careful pouring. Caramel, touch of tart citrus, touch of biscuit, toffee, bit of funk. No body. I think something extra may have gotten in. Disappointed.

Growler from the brewery. Pours hazy orange. Orange peel, very floral, lavender, rose, nice sweet citrus peel thing. Nicely balanced with the yeast. Good body. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold orange. Very pissy aroma. Cat piss, passionfruit, mango, orange, biscuit. Medium body. Not bad, but the aroma is a bit offputting.

GABS Auckland 2018. Pours gold. Peach, bubblegum, lots of cloves, sweet parsnip, yeast takes over the finish. The parsnip bit is surprisingly good, but the saison part lets it down.

330ml bottle. Pours orange with a big white head. Peach, stewed peaches, cardboard, lots of biscuit, bit of residual caramel, bit vegetal in the finish. Medium body. Not great.

330ml bottle. Pours gold. Honey, peach, lemon, super floral, elderflower stuff, nice honey biscuit finish. Reasonably clean finish given the honey. Pretty good.

On handpull at the Lumsden. Pours ruby black. Coffee, toast, blueberry, biscuit, little cocoa. Smooth body, lovely on that handpull. Good stuff.
