(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Maribo 24-12 Julebryg". Beautiful, clear amber with a creamy, white head. Very dry and hoppy with some outspoken caramelish notes. Quite a decent, cheap Christmas beer. 271105

A deep red beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma contains notes of berries and wood, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry end. Where’s the licorice? I’m pretty sure the one I had was 2.6% ABV.

(Bottle 33 cl) Neatly pale brown (unfortunately with added colourant). Notes of roasted malt and caramel. Soft and well rounded. 050204

(Bottle 33 cl) Nice, fully golden beer - almost amber - with a delicate and stable head. Pleasant, malty nose and a very nice, malty flavour - quite sweet. A surprisingly good beer. 150500

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, dark brown with a rubyred glow and a small, light brown head. Roasted malty, sweetish notes but far from cloying. This is a decent brew even with a small, fine hoppy edge. 250300

(Bottle 33 cl) Classical dark golden appearance with a surprisingly full and stable head. Good malty body. Being a discount beer this competes fine with more premium brands of this style. 230300

(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty amber colour with a fine, dense head. Slightly caramelish with a very malty body. But not sweet at all, marked bitterness but in no way overpowering. Pleasant easter beer at a very cheap price - and even with a pretty label. 100300

(Bottle 33 cl) Lovely "Hvidtøl" from Maribo. Dark, slightly reddish with a small, beige head. Pronounced maltiness, sweet but well-balanced by some hops in the finish. Rather yummy actually. 270100

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a wee, tiny head. Vague hints of malt with a decent hoppy finish. Very, very similar to Maribos "Let pilsner" - and I still wonder why the brewery makes two almost equal beers. 240100
