Slow Riser from Chapman Crafted Beer

Draft (Nitro), on a flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017. Amber coloured, wispy head. Strong coffee aroma and taste to this smooth and fairly rich bodied beer. Guatemala was mentioned alongside Ethiopia on the board behind the bar, the beer was 5.3% ABV and 13 IBU, so if not the same beer, very close to the one I've rated it under!

Draft, on a flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017. Amber bodied, wispy head. Strong coconut aroma and taste, alongside a slight chocolate flavour, a bit like a Bounty.

Hop Shade from Chapman Crafted Beer

Part of a flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017. Dark, almost black bodied, lightly tanned topping. This is a hoppy, bitter brew with some roasted malts as an underbelly and colour giving. Aroma was subdued because of the coldness of the beer, so floral and citrus notes as it warmed.

Orange Plaza Pale from Chapman Crafted Beer

Draft, on a flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017. Hazy orange coloured beer, wispy head, citrus fruits to the fore in this orange flavoured brew. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Ja Chef! from Chapman Crafted Beer

Part of a flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017 (sold as 'Yes Chef!'). Bright and clear golden body, short lasting white head. Hoppy and bitter, highly carbonated. Refreshing and crisp.

First beer of my first flight at the brewery on 16th Dec 2017. Clear and clean golden body with a wispy white topping. A bit on the sweet side with an almost lemonade like flavour, thought it the least interesting of the eight beers I sampled on my two flights while visiting.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Cloudy peach color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Clear dark golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Stone fruit, yeast and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of tart peach, mango, yeast and malt. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap. Pours clear pale golden, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is Noble Hops, biscuit, a bit of grass and grain. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, pilnser-esque. Light body. Solid
