Pour is a dark brown almost black with a small thin tan head. Aroma is bready and toasty with some tootsie roll sweetness. Flavor is dry bakers chocolate with more of that tootsie roll feel and finishes quite roasty and bitter for a brown ale. Brown ales aren't usually my thing but this one was pretty flavorful.

Grapefruit and orange rind. Good malt backbone. Hits the right spot on a day this hot. Nice west coast hops, and good bitterness. Clear golden pour with ok head. Can.

Can from Best Damn Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma has an earthy floral aspect. Must be the Loral. Have to hunt for citrus - which seems orange. Some pale malt. Med plus body. Flavor has orange citrus, some earthy/herbal and maybe some floral. Pale malt support. Juicy, but dry. Very hoppy. Very bitter. Quite tasty. Old School updated. Very updated.

My can says Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy, but the ABV's the same. Peachy indeed, with a stone fruit front accented by pineapple and mango, underlined by hints of bubblegum, lime zest, and grainy sweetness. A bit of wet malt creeps into the finish, but the fade gives an outsized mineral bitterness, oily and clingy and very West Coast. Never quite reaches the DIPA heights you want, but a decent pint regardless.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Clean and clear, bright golden orange appearance, thin, oily foam head. Really into this double. Lots of melon and bitter citrus. Nice blend of tropical like aromas and flavors. Refreshing imperial. Totally on board with this.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Awesome these guys shipped this up here! Next time I'm in Orange County, I'm definitely stopping by. Clean and clear golden pour, thin foam head. Nice west coast IPA, full of piney, resinous hop flavor. Has a slight juicy side too. Cool blend of New Zealand hops, and the ones from one easy freeway drive away. Piney aroma. Soft biscuit malt. Refreshing IPA with a bit of an enjoyable bitter hop finish. Solid IPA here

Quite clear copper, orange and peach coloured body with a slight haze, some bubbles rising from the sides with a thin, very fast-dying tan head. Aroma of citrus, lactose, a dose of flowers and a smooth malt balance, all with some soft bitterness from the pungent hops. Medium-bodied; Rich grassy and very citrusey flavour at first with some light alpha acids and bitterness, but only a soft and light maltiness which doesn't support the deeper hops, which fade to an earthier and slightly sweeter finish that highlights the Amarillo and leaves some robust flowers and dryness on the very end. Aftertaste is dry, slightly hoppy, with a dash of alpha acids and a light citrusey profile that shows more of the earthiness and dry notes than a pure hop bomb - which works out okay, but far from a West Coast IPA! Overall, a soft beer with a decent balance, but needs more malt, and a lot more complexity throughout. Nice to try on the East Coast, but there are much better beers in the style to grab, especially if you are local to San Diego! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Krisp Market (BestDamnBeerShop) in San Diego, California on 31-January-2020 for US$5,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on the other end of the country on 30-March-2020.

16 oz can from Tavour, 3/20/20. Hazy golden-orange, thin fizzy head. Bright weed, melon, lemongrass, over some guava. Lactose isn't noticable here much at all. It's crisp, refreshing, and clean. Not all that creamy and not all that fruity either. Not at all what I was expecting from the description, but I dig it. Really good. 9/4/8/4/17 2nd can I get more lactose and fruitiness, and less of the weed and lemongrass. Still really like this one, so I'll keep the score the same.
