Can from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. Cloudy magenta, no sparkle, head or lacing. Aroma is strong, tart blackberry, black currant, maybe a hint of bourbon and vanilla with deep sniff. Taste is strong sweet/tart blackberry and black currant, background bourbon and vanilla in the finish. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste w/o sign of alcohol. The bourbon vanilla beans could be stronger in the mix but the tart strength is good, without being sour, and some sweet balance.

Burk på biskoppensvapen luund. Dipa provning två olika USA dipor testas. Här har vi i doften lite kattpiss samt blöt sommaräng . Jag kör på med två rejäla klunkar . Då kommer en salig blandning av övermogna tropiska grejer samt därbakom ligger tydlig stadga av peppar/lakrits . Fyllig Dipa som är god och har rejäl beska. Men för bättre betyg behövs mer frukt och skarpare smaker. Ja beskan dock bra och nästan på gränsen . Men frukten och smakerna behöver filas fram lite till.

16 oz can poured, last of the latest California haul. Barely a haze to this darker golden pour. Patchy head. Grassy hops throughout with a subtle peach like note in the background. Definitely a bold hop headliner, but doesn't come off as dank as the name suggested. Easy drinking imperial overall, with very little bite. Finishes on a barely rich caramel malt, and mellow grassy bitter. Solid, not so typical imperial here. Enjoyed this.
