On tap at Hoppy Junction, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal and perfumey, with lots of tart floral notes, melon, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is very perfumey, with notes of tart melon, vegetal notes, and Belgian yeast. Hmm, this is a head scratcher - not sure what they're trying to do here. Not terrible but it doesn't seem on-point.

On tap at 65 Peel, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals lots of lemongrass upfront, with subdued floral hops. Flavour is loaded on with bright lemongrass upfront, followed by citrusy, floral hops, and soft malt. Really like the lemongrass character here. Great stuff.

On tap at Kowloon Taproom, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out molasses, burnt brown sugar, and a hint of roast. Flavour is similar, with tons of molasses and burnt brown sugar, almost with a bit of burnt rubber, and light roast. Finished dry, burnt and molasses-like. Not bad.

Bottle from Antarabangsa, Penang. Poured a hazy light golden straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, yeasty, light orange citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, grainy, mineral, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is caramel malt, light citrus, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, skunky, gluey malt, toffee, light fruit, floral perfume palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not really one for me I’m afraid.
