Bottle thanks to blutt59. Confusing best by date, so I will not include that. Pours with a small, white head and a golden body. Aroma is grainy, honey, citrus hops and grassy. Taste is bitter, grassy and orange. Fizzy and dry. Not a bad IPA for the distance it had to travel.

Deep black with ruby highlights. Minimal tan head. Roasted and sweet malts in the aroma. Light cocoa, also. Flavor is similar. Roasted malts are most noticeable. Light milk in the finish. Thinish body with active carbonation. Solid stout. Could definitely drink more.

Cellared for nearly 2 years. Orange-brown with a touch of lace. Fruity—dark—aroma with lots of rich caramel malt and a bit of chocolate. American hops that are obviously a little dulled by time. Little to no Belgian character in the nose. Belgian yeast and its fruitiness comes through a bit more in the mouth, though this is more double IPA then tripel (adding the sediment brings it out more). Big caramel and fruit. Cherries, apples, a touch of citrus, pine. Very bitter hoppy finish. Silky smooth in the mouth, very soft, which contrasts with the hard hop finish. Aging seems to have smoothed it. A very pleasant, challenging drink that is different with age. I think it was better fresh, but have no good notes. I would bring out the Belgian character a little bit more. It gets pushed aside by the big American hops. Slightly too sweet as well, but I am enjoying it.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is very much barley wineish with all the malts, plum and alcohol in the body. Flavour is raisins, some bready malts, caramel malts and alcohol. A very pleasant and enjoyable barley wine.

Draught at Popeye, Tokyo. Almost black. Earthy coffee aroma. Sweetish with some licorice and tobacco as well as butter. Dense with solid body and nicely rounded mouthfeel. Heavily roasty salty finish. A well made mild and pleasant stout.
