Hazy dull tan. The aroma has some nice lemony hop, with fruity character and a touch of coriander. Lots of bitterness, and spice, with biscuity pale malts. Subtle and balanced.

Brassy and with just a touch of chill haze. The aroma is fruity, bit yeasty, with some appley character and alcohol. Strong alcohol with caramelly malts...same profile as subcontinental strong lager, albeit with cleaner malts and a slightly more refined fruitiness. Still, if you called it Himalaya 9000, it would not be out of line.

Fairly bright. Light amber. No head. The aroma is sort of a pear and plastic dynamic, to this the palate adds gluey thick malts. Candyish finish, with a light berryish note. Not the quencher saison is supposed to be.

Cloudy yellow. The aroma is yeasty/footy, the taste is coriander, and the yeast sits much heavier on the palate than with Wit 1. The malts don’t show through very well as a result, making this a much more muddled, clunky, dull beer. Not very bright, and definitely inferior.

Cloudy yellow, thin head. Pear brandy esters, coriander, oaty, almost apple crumble character. Sweet up front, with a really nice malt character. Soft wheat and light coriander, and mellow sugary apple esters. Good stuff, easily the better of the two.

Cloudy darker shade of blond, with small head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, peach; but so a trace of paint thinner. Dry mouthfeel; blend of spicy yeast and hops; there is some hop quality, such as some lemon and cedar peel, but there is a nasty level of chicory-like bitterness, harsh final, very disturbing and upsetting.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of Belgian yeast and dry hopping. Flavour is quite dank and rough, with notes of floral dry hops, yeast and a fairly astringent finish. Not a cohesive blend of these two elements. Needs a lot of work. Not good.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is barely present, much less robust than Wit 1, with only some faint yeast. Flavour is muted and muffled - there really isn't a lot here, just some yessty and wheaty hints. This one also has the seltzer like quality on the finish. The worse of the two Wits.
