Flight pour at brewery. Pours almost clear blonde with white head. Aroma has pine, mango, light citrus. Flavour has bitter pine, some bright dank oils, somewhat juicy stonefruit. Pretty decent, nice and brights hops, though a bit on the tame side.

Poured from 650mL bottle shared with Chris M in Halifax. Chill hazed golden yellow with small white head. Funk and barnyard with light tart sourness. Actually quite nice.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a hazy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma has some spicy hops, light pine, a touch of stone fruit zest, and cereal malt. Flavour is fairly fruity, with melon, stone fruit, some bitter pine, light spiciness to the hops, and toasted grains. Fairly bright, reasonably fruity, not much residual bitterness. Pleasant enough, but a bit lacklustre and lacking cohesion.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a cloudy bright peachy pink with a small white head. Aroma is still mostly a function of yogurty lacto despite the earthy rhubarb being there in the background and strawberries to a lesser extent. Flavour is tart and yogurty, with plenty of jammy strawberries, a touch of earthy rhubarb, and then a boatload of lacto. The yogurty character is really too intense and overtakes the fruit. Another lame fruited kettle sour.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of chalk and car exhaust, some stone fruit pith, and a touch of allium — I don't detect any Nelson whatsoever. Flavour has plenty of hopburn, light chalk, a touch of stone fruit pith, but then the residual astringency / hopburn kicks in again. Muffled, astringent and poorly calibrated.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty mild, with soft bready malt and not much else. Flavour is mild but clean, with soft, lightly sweet cereal malt. Typical cream ale — not much going on and it's a pointless style. Drinkable.

Gold, bright. Thin head. Grainy nose, pale malt and some more graininess on the palate. Modest bitterness but quite clean. Solid technical example that I'll appreciate more at the judging table than anywhere else.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours clear light gold with white head. Aroma has esters, peppercorn, window cleaner. Flavour has a ton of esters and window cleaner, some peppercorn under that. This is a very poor saison.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma has gentle sweet malts. Flavour has lactose and sweet pale malts. Not a whole lot going on, but not offensive.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours hazy pale orange with white head. Almost no aroma. Flavour is lightly sour with pretty clear strawberry and rhubarb notes. Pretty basic kettle sour, but enjoyable enough.
