Sampled at pre-Borefts tasting. Hazy golden with white head. Dull malts, bready, light yeast, sulphur, light spicy yeast, bread crust. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. Not bad, but plain and boring.

Bottle shared at The Fat Cow tasting, Bangkok. Fairly hazy amber with an off white head head. Aroma of malt, cardboard, light fruits and caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

Bottle from the Beer Temple, Hanoi. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is caramel malt, ripe red berry fruits, raisins, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a crisp, Christmas cake spicy, marzipan, herbal, rich fruity, light boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
