Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, biscuit, dough, mineral, earthy, light fruit. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, light bitter with a light, toffee malt, biscuit, light red berry fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap at Takumiya. Bright tropical fruit and grapefruit hop nose, wheaty crackers. Crisp wheat malt, crisp hops, tropical, citrus. Good stuff.

slightly hazy pale golden color. Rocky white head. Very dry fragerent citrusy nose. Medium body, not a ton of malt character but the yuzu punches through but doesn’t shine. I mean it’s nice and acceptable but could be so much more as neither the fruits or underlying beer shine

Tap @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Hazy yellow-orange pour, some white foam. Tropical nose, overripe mango sweetish and fruity. Tastes sweet tropical also, medium bitterness, turning dry towards the end. Tastes medium bodied with a good balance, some grassy bitterness in the end. Bit grainy overall but still tasty.

Tap @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Red IPA, style could also be American Amber I think. Pours amber, lightly cloudy and with some white foam on top. Quite malty nose, some rye spices, rough and heavy caramel. Tastes also malty, bitter and dry, bit heavy and filled with rye and spices. Imperial red this is, bready and full of spices. Overall feeling a bit heavy but in a good way.

Tap @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Light orange cloudy and just a bit of white foam on top. Saison nose, some light grassy bitterness and spicy saison yeast. Tastes has saison yeast, fruity and estery, bitterness well balanced. Decent saison, not too special bit tasty still.

Shinagawa Intercity Oedo Festival tasting. Golden and clear pour, some white foam. Grainy sweetish wet malts nose. Taste has light noble hops, malty base, sweetish and a bit Belgian. Light booze there for everybody to feel. Spicy yeast character, has a bitter linger in the finish. Not bad.
