Ushitora Asyura Triple IPA 10% Mince looking orange gold with dense off-white foam and a rich yeasty stone fruit aroma. Full bodied and dry with a touch of boozy heat and warmth. The taste is candied stone fruit with a touch of dank citrus and overripe mango. Very smooth and when I saw the ABV I was expecting a more aggressive beast so I’m pleasantly surprised by how balanced this is.

Ushitora Petan Keller Pilsner 5.5% Very pale straw gold with a foamy eggshell white top. Nice grainy malt aroma with light herbal spice tones. crisp clean light body makes it satisfying.

Ushitora Tiger APA 5% 26 IBU Matte gold with thin dense foam and a subdued stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied with a dry finish - it feels fuller bodied than many ushitora beers. Solid New Year’s brew.

Ushitora Maido Maido no IPA 42 IBU 6.5% Hazy gold with 1cm of bright white foam. The aroma is quite subdued after the Ise Kadoya haystack rock. Light bodied and dry with a herbal earthy bitterness. I saw this listed on Untappd as a double ipa but I don’t think so. Pretty average.

Man I’ve not had ushitora in awhile! Pricey on draft but it with the lockdowns I’ve not had the chance. Surprisingly, they’re quite affordable in cans at 5-600¥. Ushitora Ura Mono Session IPA 4% Deep amber gold with a light beige head of foam. The aroma is hoppy pine with dank and woodsy element that evoke a classic west coast IPA. The beer has a medium body and is smooth. Actually, for a Session IPA the body is quite nice.

pale golden nice firm grassy bitterness. Decent crackery malt backbone. Light and easy drinking.
Initial big washing up liquid feel. Nice enough but classic UT in its half-arsedness

Pint at Komachi. SLightly hazy deep orange with a low head. Nose is grapefruit, orange, light tropical fruit. Zesthy, pithy, bitter flavor. Medium sweetness with a dry and bitter hop finish. Decent.
