Tapp at Bungalow. Bright medium golden color, low head. Sweet and fruity, nose is citrus and tropical fruits. Quite malty and pretty good hops all around, not too heavy.

medium hazy golden. Nice slightly tart funky nose, wheat, citrus, funky yeast. The tartness lends a nice edge in the nose. Well balanced, modest bitterness, lightly tart palate lots of funk. Very nice stuff.

light medium brown color. Smoked cheese with slight citrus character. Dry, nice medium smokiness, malty. Very clean. Medium body. Tight carbonation. Very approachable. Nothing mindblowing but I like it.

Tap at Komachi. Deep amber-orange, clear, with a thick head. Big, dry, boozy nose, tropical fruit, orange, caramel, malt. Way too boozy and hot, bitter, caramel sweetness, cloying and then dry, with a finish of gasoline as it warms. Some nice hop flavors in there but they are overwhelmed by alcohol.

Tap at Bungalow. Clear gold, bright. Bright tropical fruit nose, citrus, dank, acidic. Very fruity, spicy, bitter and dank. A bit heavy as usual for the style.

Tap at Bunalow. Pretty pink-orange-purple, hazy. Tart ume, shiso, lemon, fun nose. Leafy shiso flavor, you can almost taste the grit, dry, nice ume plums, great juiciness. Nice sourness without extra lactose.

Ushitora Hiyashi Chuuka Kolsch 5% Opaque straw gold with a dusty fresh milled grainy aroma and light herbal hops. Medium to light bodied and with a crisp finish. The taste matches the aroma but gives more sweetness interpolating with the herbal hops while a scratchy carbonic bite lingers into the aftertaste.

Probably the latest version of this... does RB really need 3 entries for it? Ushitora First Impact American Black IPA Cola black with a light beige head and ruby highlights. The aroma is pine and roasty malts. Medium bodied and super smooth with a soft round mouthfeel. The taste is toasty roasty dark malts, oats and chocolate with soft piney hops. Well balanced and a great example of the style.

Ushitora Ure Goro Double IPA 8.5% 67 IBU Glowing brass I color with a big bold sweet fruity aroma. Slick oily mouthfeel, full. Off and dry finish. The taste is sweet piney stone fruits, honey biscuits and bitter herbal greenery. Quite a nice classic double IPA.
