Tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a slightly hazy orange to rust color with a two-finger soapy head that lingers throughout. Orange juice bomb on the nose with grapefruit, pine, honey and biscuit notes. Average carbonation with a medium body. Great balance between hops and malt. Super juicy and fruit forward with bitterness and malt sweetness. Finish is juicy with some bitterness. Tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a hazy glowing yellow with a two-finger head of foam that lasts throughout. Lots of white grapefruit, yeast, grass lemon zest and grass on the nose with some boozy aromas. Taste feels lighter than the ABV, but there is some alcohol on the palate with a sharp lemon juice white grapefruit bitterness. Bitter finish with lots of lemon and pith. Tap at Komachi. Amber orange, a bit hazy, with a fine, low head. Nice spicy hop nose, oranges, a bit of pine, toasty malt. Rounder, and fuller than their usual beers because of the different yeast. A bit sweeter too, both things good. Nice malt character. Hops just so-so. Ok but not all that exciting.

Tap at Ushi-Tora. Yellow-gold with a small thin layer of foam on top. Grassy nose with some grainy notes, orange, lemon and alcohol. Body is medium to medium-light with average carbonation. Feels boozy on the palate and kind of tiring. Feels like a work in progress still with something a little off, I canβt place it though...maybe plastic? Finish is bitter with booze. Tap at Ushi-Tora. Deep gold with a small, thin layer of foam that lingers throughout. Light tropical fruit with some pine and grapefruit notes on the nose. Medium body with good carbonation and a nice well-rounded mouthfeel. Really good balance. Fruity on the palate with a nice, bitter finish. Tap at Watering Hole. Clear light gold with a small half-finger white head. Light grapefruit aroma with some grain. Light to medium-light body with average to soft carbonation. Fruity on the palate with the pear lightly in the background and not sweet nor overbearing. Very spritzy carbonation with a grapefruit pithy bitterness along with peppery yeast and a hint of seltzer water saltiness. Very-refreshing and palate-clensing. On tap at Molto. It pours a deep brown-black with a tan head that leaves lacing that coats the rim of the glass. The aroma is quite nice sweet coffee & bready sweet buns. Like a relaxing coffee break snack. The carbonation is sharp rather than velvety which kind of ruins the coffee illusion, the mes-light body doesnβt help there either. The taste is a sweetened milk coffee, lightly chewy with a roasty bitterness & lactic acid sweetness in the finish. Good but if they boosted the body/mouthfeel itβd be great.
