Ushitora x Minoh #033 Yama Momo No Kaori on tap at Bungalow’s 3rd Anniversary. A Mountain peach beer? It does have a tangy peach fuzz aroma on a cloudy light gold. Light bodied with a seltzer like carbonation.The taste is a wine like fruity peach with some sweet tarts accents. Pretty good actually.

very pale color. Light fruity nose with tons of tropical fruit. Good bitterness, easy drinking. Nice stuff

I had to work in the Umeda Grand Front Building today so I decided to pop into Molto for lunch. I ordered the 雨読みのセゾン (Ame Yomi Saison) from Ushitora. 4.1% with a thick foamy head that lasts and a spicy-sweet saison aroma. First impressions destroy any memories I have of that Asahi Saison. Thin bodied with a raspy mouthfeel, in this respect Asahi won, this is watery which seems to be the case with most Ushitora beers lately - make more beers with the minimum of malts, more profitable I guess. The taste is pretty good, funky, spicy but cardboard as well which detracts. Full on saison yeast character but nowhere near enough malty body. Passable but stop pinching pennies and make a beer with some body please Ushitora.

Tap at Bungalow. Pale yellow, too thin in color. Nice hoppy nose, herbs and citrus, crackers. Light malt, crisp and dry, crackers, lemon, grapefruit, herbs. Very highly drinkable and flavorful for the abv. Good session beer.

Tap at Dig. Hazy gold color with a fine head. Tropical fruit nose, dank, with lychee and strawberry and crackers. Dry, fruity flavor, tropical fruit, crackers. Soft and persistent carbonation. Good.

Tap at Dig. Glowing gold, hazy, with a low, fine head. Stinky tropical fruit nose, crackers, grapefruit. Decently fruity flavor, very crackery, light and crisp. Great balance.

Tap at Dig. Nice fruity nose--tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, banana, with wheat and esters. cloudy, muddy, icy gold with lace. Soft and fruity flavor, mango, peach, alcohol. SMooth and silky but a bit boozy. Something is missing, though. Almost great, but the 7% hefe was a bit better.

Tap at Dig. Pale gold color, hazy, with a low head. Lemony nose, crackers, fruit. Light and crisp, nice light but persistent carbonation. Good enough.

Tap at Dig. Pale yellow, hazy, with a thick, fine head. Nose is peach, wheat crackers, tart fruits. Tart and fruity flavor, yamamomo and peach, crackers. Light and crisp. Fruit-dominated but pretty nice.
