Tap at the Garage. Bright gold, very hazy. Super fresh and juicy citrus hop nose. Juicy lemon and orange flavor. Clean and tasty. Compared to the Garage Hazy, this was brighter and simpler. Both nice, but the other a bit more complex.

Tap at the Garage. Lovely hazy gold with a medium to full head. Big, juicy NZ hop aroma, grapefruit juice, tropical fruits, lightly dank and funky. Flavor is sweet but balanced, juicy, fruity, funky and dank. Complex and nice.

Tap at the Garage. Bright NZ hop aroma, with citrus and tropical fruit, and bready malt. Bright orange color with a medium head. Fruity, flavor, nice citrus hops, with sweet, bready malt. Good stuff.

Tap at KBL. Medium brown with a medium head and some haze. Nose is cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, caramel malt, toast, touch of pumpkin. Flavor is not very sweet, lightly malty with caramel and pumpkin spice. There is a bit of spice bitterness in the finish with diminishes the experience a touch, but overall well done and not one of those sweet nasty things.

Tap at KBl. Bright gold with a tall, fine head. Nose is mild, butty coffee, light citrus hops, clean malts. Flavor also coffee, leading the way but not huge, nutty, mild, some lemon and citrus and biscuity malts. Not really my thing but well done and really well balanced.

Tap at KBL. Clear gold, low head. Fruity citrus, lightly tropical nose, clean malt. Flavor is grass, citrus, tropical, hops not bursting out but very clean and solid. Great balance, maybe a bit past its prime.

Tap at KBL. Nearly black, dark brown, with a bit of lace. Estery, malty nose, dark fruits, caramel, Belgian yeast spiciness, raisins, figs. Estery, malty, fruity flavor but very dry indeed. A truly intriguing beer, half bock, eisbock, quad. Almost flat, silky body.

Tap at KBL. Slightly hazy bright gold. Hoppy nose, not huge, but fresh, funky, grassy. Clean malt. Crisp, clean malt profile, Aussie hops mostly, some dankness, citrus, grass. Very crisp, clean palate. Nice.

Hand pump at KBL. Dark brown with a big, foamy, off-white head. Nutty, malty aroma with some cocoa and herbal hops. Light but satisfying body, lot carbo, malty, not too sweet, very nice mild.

25/10/2024. Hand pump at Kyoto Beer Lab. Pours very dark brown with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma is mildly roasted, nutty, caramel, chocolate. Well balanced. Moderate body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Nice done, and a style I wasn’t expecting to find here.
