0,3l from cask @ Kyoto Beer Lab. Pours clear copper with a medium creamy head. Aroma is toasted malts with some caramel. Flavor is toasted malts, caramel, nuts, hops. Very nice.

Tap at KBL. Their take on Garage Project's Pernicious Weed. Clear gold. Great hop nose, piny, dank, citrus, tropical. Everything going on, but mostly resinous weed dankness. Crisp, clean malt flavor just lets the hops go crazy. A great Kiwi-Aussie DIPA. This nails it.

Tap at KBL. Pitch black and glowing with a lot head. Roasty, sugary nose with a nice touch of citrusy hops in the background. Roasted malt flavor, molasses, bitter from hop and roast, citrus hops, spicy. Well done.

Tap at KBL. Slightly hazy medium gold. Malty nose, crisp crackery pilsner malt with dank Aussie hops. Flavor is crisp and bready, crackery, lemon, pine, dank. A good example of an Aussie pilsner.

Tap in Fuchimi. Clear. Clean nose, bready malt, lemony hops. Crackery malt flavor with quite a lot of lemony citrus hops. Crisp and nice, though closer to an IPL than a helles imo.

KBL what the Helles? 5.2% IBU 19 Nice golden color with eggshell white foam and an inviting sweet light malts and mildly herbal/spicy hoppiness. It’s got a bit of a bitter tang with pss as le malt sweetness. Crisp and quaffable. Nice stuff.
