Nice stuff. Hoppy fruitiness. Bit dank. Not so much of the grape thing but maybe it’s there.

Happy 4th Anniversary! Anniversary IPA: Why not Ekuanot? 7.4% 35 IBU The mildest haziest beer I’ve seen in Japan! It looks like that turducken beer or some kind of milk-beer hybrid. Juicy aroma with a vegetal herbal juicy flavor on a medium to light body. If you’re looking for a different take on Japanese haze packed with flavor this is it.

Tap at KBL. Cherry gose. Lovely deep red color. Clear. Nose is only light cherry, otherwise citrus and lactic acid. Flavor is lemon, cherry, light salt. Tasty but the cherry is really too weak to make a strong impression.

Tap at KBLK. Deep hazy brown with lace3. Nutty nose, malty caramel, spicy, citrus. Nutty, slightly roasty flavor, spicy hops, fun stuff.

Kyoto Beer Lab Shakadake Mountain IPA 7.3% 40 IBU Tap at the Tower Sando Beer Festa, murky brassy haze with eggshell white foam and a big juicy aroma. Silky body that verges on velvety - quite a full mouthfeel. Very strong bitter citrus up front mixed in with tropical fruits and green herbs. More bitter than expected. Pretty good but that hoppiness is fairly full on.

Tap at KBL. Bright hop nose, grapefruit, orange, mango. Hazy, deep gold. Bright, juicy flavor, a bit funky as well. Crisp body. A bit too much kvieky funkiness.

Tap at KBL. Deep brown with orange tints and lace. Smoky nose, chilis, caramel. Quite spicy flavor from the habaneros, very smoky, some chocolate. A bit too spicy for my tastes, but very well done.

Tap at KBL. Deep brown with orange tints. Lacy head. Wheaty nose, clove, some banana, rye spice, chocolate, caramel, light licorice. Dry and spicy flavor, caramel and chocolate and rye spices. Estery, lovely stuff. Just missing the big head, otherwise a perfect Dunkel Roggenbock!
Earthy
It lived up to it's name at that stage of a long day. Sour but also something malty. Good stuff
