Be easy Brewing Nottsudo IPA 7.5% 35 IBU Tap at AB where it was listed as a New England IPA a style I’m a fan of when it doesn’t look like mud. Thankfully this was a thick gold with a dense white head and a creamsicle fruity hop bouquet. Mouthwatering, but that could’ve been. As it was my first beer after a long day at work. Full bodied and fairly smooth in texture with just a bit of prickling assaulting your tongue. The taste is sweet candied grapefruit rind and pine sap. A real nice beer, probably one of the best Be Easy has put out. To style but could’ve been ramped up more. I’m glad I chose to pop in today.

Tap at Komachi. Clear gold with a low head. Nose of sakura mochi pickled cherry leaves, somehow, plus lemon and chamomile. Nice herbal, flowery flavor, chamomile, sakura mochi, some honey, citrus. Full and smooth. Not my thing, but very well made.

Tap at Komachi. Hazy, deep gold with a low, thick, head. Looks like a regular IPA, just unfiltered. Not gooey. Lovely nose of citrus, grains, a bit of pine, dankness, and tropical fruit. Fruity, juicy flavor, sweet, with grapefruit, mango, and pine. Slick and smooth, with a nice low bitterness and a peppery hop finish. Good first try at the style. Very nice. Hops are not as overwhelming as the Mass versions, but well done.

Tap at Takumiya. Brown with reddish accents and a thin beige head. It has a syrupy chocolate aroma with a sweet chocolate syrupy flavor complimented by roasty components. A touch light bodied and dry but quite solid.

Tap at Boku to Inu. Clear deep golden color with lace. Deep, rich malt, pine, grapefruit, peaches. Rich and malty with some caramel pine, full body. Great balance. Really more of a traditional pale ale than a Session, but a good one.

A clear Amber color with a filmy beige head and an aroma of fruity hops, biscuit and some hints of diacetyl. The taste is biscuit, citrusy hops (lots of lemon) and a touch of butterscotch. Pretty good for a new brewery though they need to dial things in and clean them up a bit.

Tap at iBrew. Rather dull black, flat. Woody nose, coffee, cream, chocolate, a bit of soy. Good nose. Medium sweet, creamy but a bit light, nice roasty coffee and chocolate. Nice. The low carbonation at iBrew was a bit lacking.

Tap at iBrew. CLoudy, glowing golden orange with lace. Nose is orange, citrus, wheat. Tart flavor of lemon, orange, pineapple, biscuits, crackers. Fruit comes out more in the flavor. Juicy and balanced, with a peppery finish. Light, prickly carbonation. Pretty good.
