Can from the brewery tap. very fruity, estery nose, citrus, stone fruit, melon, apple, rich caramel and treacle. Also some piny resin. Deep amber to brown with orange tints and light hazy, and a low, thick head. Flavor is very malty, lots of treacle and brown sugar, lots of hops, citrus, pine, grass, and a strong bitterness. Really amazingly drinkable for such a young beer with such high specs. Soft carbonation, silky body. Excellent stuff. Need more for aging.

Two Rabbits Traditional Bock 6.5%
Deep brownish red that is completely opaque and topped with thick fluffy light beige foam. Full bodied yet with a silky carbonation that has a touch of a raspiness in the finish.
The aroma is a dusty cocoa powder while the taste is caramel and biscuit. So smooth and tasty. Good stuff.

Served from the hand pump at Two Rabbits. Bright gold, light haze, with lace. Funky Aussie hop nose, tropical fruits, catpiss, citrus. Light malt. Flavor is clean, malty, nicely hoppy. Low carbonation, smooth body. Works very well from cask. Nice go-to beer.

Tap at Two Rabbits. Dark to medium brown, lace. Low carbonation. Nice ginger nose, with bready malt, caramel, touch of chocolate. Spicy ginger flavor with a slight burn, nice malt, good balance of sweetness. Rich body. Well done.

Tap at Two Rabbits. Pitch black, quite shiny, with lace. Lovely smoky nose, Bamberg malt, chocolate, woody, bacon. Rich and silky, with smoky bacon, caramel, chocolate, tons of umami for sure. Lovely.

Can at Grumbo's place. Aroma is roasted, malty, very heavy coffee, nutty, ashy and chocolate. Good body, low carbonation. Dry roasted bitter finish. Very good.

Two Rabbits Road Rabbit NZ Pale Ale 5%
Matte gold with thick foam, it left great lacing behind. Great hop bouquet of prickly pear and zesty fruits. The taste matches the aroma but adds a candied lemon rind element to it. Nice woodsy elements in the finish. Crisp, clean and with a big depth of flavor. Great stuff.

Two Rabbits x KBC Movember Sahti Bought this can at Isetan and I’ve gotta say when you crack the can and pour out the murky brown brew the spicy banana bread Sahti aroma wafts out. It smelled on point. Medium bodied but a touch more carbonated than what I remember from Finland (often very flat) but this was a solid example of a rare to find in Japan style. Sahti’s kind of feel like the inspiration for Christmas beers to me.

Can with KBL. Pours a murky brown, much like the real thing. Tall head that quickly dissipated. Caramel nose, lots of estery banana, light rye, touch of juniper. Sweet caramel flavor tons of esters. velvety body with medium carbonation. Nice that they tried this. Pretty authentic tasting.
