14/9/2024. Can courtesy of Reuben, huge thanks! Region #464. Japan prefecture 35/47. Pours black with a creamy frothy beige head. Aroma is black coffee, ashy, roasted, dark chocolate, nut, vanilla pod. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, average to soft carbonation. Long roasted coffee finish. Very nice.

Two Rabbits Kyubi-no-Kitsune West Coast IPA 6.5% Part of their Yokai Series and made with Idaho 7, Simcoe, El Dorado and Ella hops which I think is the same as the hazy. Rich stone fruit with spicy woodsy pine notes in the aroma. It’s a very pretty bright gold with good lacing and filmy white foam. It’s medium to full bodied with a nice bitter finish. Starting off sweet with stone fruit then getting bitter with mild minty herbal pine notes. This is really well balanced and I finished it in a flash. Great.

This label has me wishing I was enjoying the beer by the canal in Omi-Hachiman… Two Rabbits Daidarabochi Hazy IPA 6.5% This hazy features Idaho 7, Simcoe, El Dorado and Ella hops. It’s a hazy yellow which in this cloudy light looked closer to murky. It has decent fizzy white foam which didn’t linger. The aroma delivers with mouthwatering juiciness. Guava, creamy mango paste and candyish notes that normally make me think of citra. Medium bodied and smooth with a somewhat raspy mouthfeel. The taste starts of like the aroma then adds a bit of a woodsy prickly pear element to it. Sweetly enjoyable.

Two Rabbits Smash XPA: Nelson Sauvin 5.5% Orange gold with thick fluffy off-white foam and a citrusy aroma that has notes of fruits but also fresh oniony mint. Medium bodied with a bit of a scratchy carbonation. The taste matches the aroma with added pithy citrus and some almost dank notes. I was not expecting this from a single hop Nelson Sauvin beer but it’s got a nice west coast IPA type flavor profile.

It’s so hot, I was craving a beer. Two Rabbits Bohemian Pilsner 5.5% Deep gold with thick rocky off-white foam that left big soapy lacing behind. The aroma is bitter and herbal with some musty grape notes in the finish. Medium bodied with a slightly raspy carbonation. The taste has herbal hop notes, hints of tobacco leaf and some woodsiness. Fairly crisp finish, this is solidly refreshing. Can from Isetan.

Tap at KBL Garage. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a low head. Biscuity malt nose, slightly husky, touch of diacetyl, light berry fruitiness. Sweet flavor, bitter finish, again slightly husky malt.

Super smooth beautiful coffee beans, malty smooth palate. Low bitterness . Super nice

Ruby red color. Cherry, crumbles, waltnut, medium bitterness. Rounded. Excellent.
