Tap at Two Rabbits. Stronger, un-smoked version this year. Rather deep brown-orange color. Nose is caramel, orange, chocolate. Rich malt flavor but not very sweet, whole wheat or rye bread, caramel, citrus, spicy Kent Goldings. Nice drinker on a cold winter day.

Two Rabbits seem to be doing a lager series where the labels on the cabs feature the country’s colors. This is following up on the excellent Italian Pilsner. Two Rabbits Australian Lager 5% 22 IBU Glad to spot this on tap at Bungalow as I didn’t get a chance to pick up a can yet. Straw gold with a thin white film of foam. Mild woodsy fruity hop aroma. The taste adds an earthiness to that but the medium bodied brew is crisp and dry. Flavorful stuff, solid.

hazy golden color. Frothy white head. Smells like white wine and citrus and cantaloupe character. Very smooth plate. Juicy. Low medium bitterness and carbonation

Done work and cool and calm at home… Two Rabbits Cool and Calm Hallertau Blanc & Riwaka IPA 5.5% It is a pretty matte gold with dense long lasting foam. It’s got a peppery woodsy aroma over tropical fruits, kind of makes me think of prickly pear. Mouthwatering hoppy goodness. Medium bodied with a somewhat dry finish. The flavor bang on matches the aroma, really spot on and refreshing IPA they’d right up my alley with a great balance.

I wanted to enjoy this with great red foliage but waited too long I guess. Two Rabbits Red IPL 6% A slightly murky Amber orange-brown with a thick beige topping of foam. The aroma is biscuit and pine. Medium bodied but with a very dry finish. The taste is peppery, biscuit and piney hops. Pretty good.

Tap at bungalow. Pretty deep amber. Clear. Nutty nose, bready, spicy hops. Falvor is very nutty and toasty, with cherries, pine, and chocolate. Kind of old school hopping? Crisp and clean, with a bitter finish. Quite good.

Two Rabbits Brewing Days like These Polaris & Cashmere IPA 6% Today feels like the last gasp of summer… Matte orange-gold with dense off-white foam and an enticing fruity orange aroma. The taste adds herbal/woodsy/spicy elements. Medium to full bodied and very smooth. A truly enjoyable brew.

I’m a fan of IPLs but have yet to have a truly memorable Cold IPA. Two Rabbits Thriller IPL 6% Matte gold with a thick rocky head of beige foam. Nice fruity hop bouquet on a medium to full bodied beer. He taste has a sweet fruity white grape I associate with NZ hops before giving you a woodsy herbal hop bite. Good beer and it made me revisit this song which has me feeling nostalgic. I had that jacket in elementary school but red on black! Hahaha
