Vertere Pear Saison Shared by KyotoLefty at Before 9. Very pale straw gold with a lovely soft round carbonation and lightly tart pear flavor, somewhat cidre like. Nice. 3.4-6

Tap @ TKE Brewing, Vertere TapTakeOver, 19.01.2019. Had this as Red IPA #3, 6.4%, IBU 83. Nice reddish amber pour, some white foam on the top. Nose has some hops, caramel and lots of citrus. Grapefruit is strong with this one, also in the taste. Juicy citric and quite intense citric bitterness as well. Malty body keeping things balanced. Tasty, clean and well made IPA.

Tap @ TKE Brewing, Vertere TapTakeOver 19.01.2019. Pours quite dark, reddish amber I think. Nose has some hops, resiny and relatively heavy body. Taste has good base citrus covering over that lightly caramelized malt character, good balance and quite drinkable/dangerous beer.

Tap @ TKE Brewing, Vertere TapTakeOver, 19.01.2019. Pours darker orange, lightly cloudy. Nose has some light bitterness, yeasty spices. Fruity pear character is quite mild but you can find it in the taste, light tart fruitiness, perhaps some texture that is resembling sweet pear. Light bitterness and some yeast esters keeping things saison-like. Well made, relatively simple and subtle fruit saison.

Bottle from Furusato Nozei. Pretty deep gold, almost clear, rather la,e homebrew head. Nose is honey, crackers and wheat bread, lemon and orange, some apples. Honey, bread, lemon flavor. Light yet rich malts. Too flat—probably a bottling issue. Pretty tasty though. Lightly bitter finish.
