Vertere Globbo Chai Latte Stout 7% Deep brown verging on black with a thick rusty beige head of foam and huge cardamom aroma. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. This reminds me of some of my more successful homebrew Christmas beers but with more body. Overall, easy drinking and it hides the ABV well. I didn’t really get chai from it (maybe add lactose to make it more latte like?) but I liked it.

A banger of a NEIPA. The aroma has passionfruit, pineapple, orange and a bit of apple late, plus dry biscuit and salt. Lovely silky mouthfeel with some grapefruit appearing in restrained quantities. Just beautiful. 500ml can from Dig the Line bar in Kyoto (epic range of craft beer here).

Canned, 500 ml. Shared with MiroB, Luka, Hrvoje and kajser27. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Fruity, juicy, tropical, citrus, smooth texture. Sweetish with vague bitterness.

Can. Unclear golden amber with a good inch of loose white head that is a coat soon enough. Aroma of gentle citrus, some honeydew melon, pineapple, pine. Light bodied. Crackery malt is barely enough to support. Citrus and tropical fruit give way to resinous bitterness that turns from pine to spice. Good.

Cloudy orange with a firm white head. Citrus filled with a bit of dank in the background. Medium bodied. This one feels a bit old yet still tasty. Would love this a little more fresh- would slap.

Copper with plenty of white head. Smooth body but with enough carbonation to keep things moving. Very clean profile. Malt, toasted cereal grain, a touch of earth. Not a lot to write about though it is quite enjoyable if this is your thing. It’s simple, refreshing, well made. Dig it.
