Tap at Hamamatsucho. Aroma is spicy and hoppy, but maybe a bit too citrusy for me. Taste is lightly roasty, biscuits, citrus. Not quite convinced, but still like it.

Tap at Japan Brewers Cup. Dank, pine, fruity, grapefruit hoppy. Good stuff. Easy drinking

Tap. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malt and hops, bit fruity, but not so distinctive. Quite nice, just not so interesting. Taste is bit jammy, quite fruity, not so much maltiness. Pretty nice and only bitter at the finish.

frothy white head. Very clean hoppy bitter nose with good lemon pine and a touch of mineralality. Very clean, dry, balanced, bitter, but not overly exciting. Hops don’t shine on the palate. Nice but not outstanding

very hazy golden white color. Mouth is medium carbonation with modest bitterness but hops don’t shine. Some apricot and citrus notes but just ok.

On tap at the brewery. As Tim said, this is pretty clear. A orange hue with a large white head. A big bready nose, oranges. Sweet big juicy oranges, some apple, toast, sweet malty base. Solid.

this supposed NE Imperial ipa would impress most Czech and German brewers with its beautiful golden clarity. Tons of orange and white gummy bears with nice biscuity nose. Medium full body with medium bitterness with lots of gummy bears but still pretty simple. Not dank or juicy. A bit lifeless palate. Pretty mediocre
