Tap at Hama. Deep reddish-brown with a low, thick head. Nice caramel nose, cherries, orange. Rounded and smooth malt flavor, great hops, very fruity. Medium sweetness and a good peppery finish.

Tap at Hama. Shiny black with low, lacy, foam. Nose of chocolate, soy sauce, berries, coffee, wood. Very fruity flavor, lots of berries. Also chocolate, roasted wood and a very nice prickly, peppery finish. A bit too fruity-sweet for me, but very good.

Tap at Hama. Hazy copper color with a medium, thick head. Big citrus and tropical fruit nose, grassy, grapefruit, mikan, passion fruit, and a touch of soap. Crackery malt. Peppery hop flavor, crackery malt. Light and just a bit soapy but crisp.

Tap at Hama. Pretty dark brown with orange, clear, with a medium, thick, head. Toasty darn malt nose, chocolate, a touch of caramel and coffee, citrus hops. Caramel / toffee sweetness, orange, a touch of cafe au lait and vanilla. Full and silky. There is a bit of stinky over-ripe fruit in there that is a bit off-putting.

Tap at Hamamatsucho. Brown-orange, clear, with a low, fine head. Few bubbles. Dry malty nose, Munich malt comes through, light herbal hops, citrus. Come chocolate and toast. Flavor of orange, grass, chocolate, toast. Prickly, spicy finish. Malty but nicely dry. Well done.

Tap at Boku to Inu. Black, shiny. Nice meaty, smoky nose with bacon and chocolate. Rich malt flavor, quite smoky, chocolate, light caramel, bread. Comes off more like a rauchbock somehow, but no complaints about that. Good stuff.

Tap at Oedo. Very pretty dark red color, almost maroon. Cherry, a bit of caramel and chocolate, lemon, apple in the nose. Flavor is a bit thin, light body, decent but very perfumey.

Tap at Oedo. 8.2% this time. Big stone fruit and orange in the nose. Sweet, fruity, juicy flavor, lightly syrupy int he middle, but ends dry. Full but not heavy. Good W-IPA.
